I usually continue my exploration of the city and make a note of any decent places I see along the way. You don't have to do that because I have a list of 5 great barbers in Da Nang.
First up is one of my favourites KyLee Barber Shop. It’s a cool little shop down an alleyway. A little harder to find but very much worth getting yourself to. They offer a high-quality haircut for a great price of under 4 USD. Their barbers pay close attention to detail and beat anything I can get back in Australia. They also offer a full suite of additional services which you can add by buying their package with beard shave, hair washing and head massage. They play cool music and it’s definitely on my top list.
Rager.Cut&shave Google Maps - https://goo.gl/maps/BbAZWbtu4Btf4wfz5 Address: 17 Trần Quốc Toản, Hải Châu 1, Đà Nẵng Price USD 3 This barber shop is right near the Han Markets in the city, and it's like super close to the pink church that all the tourists go to in the main city side area of Da Nang. I've walked past it a bunch of times, but I never noticed the white and red sign. But when I finally went up the stairs and tried it out, man, I had the most luxurious and high-quality hair cutting, steaming, and shave experience ever! And guess what? The price was like excellent, so affordable for the amazing value they give you. Oh, and their customer care? It's seriously top-notch. I can't recommend this place enough, the folks there are so friendly too. You gotta check it out!

It's an ultra cool barber shop I found when I was going to eat Banh Xeo on Châu Thị Vĩnh Tế. They have a cool sign which made me want to stop and take a photo but then I realised it was a barber and stepped in. It’s only recently re-opened at this location after the shutdown. With a sleek, moody interior and fine quality haircutting. My barber spoke both English and Chinese. They have some other locations across town I have not tried yet! The price is great for a basic haircut USD 3. I added on some additional services like head massage, hair washing and a new one for me - ear cleaning.

It’s got an impressive wood-panelled interior and plays nice music. We had a very detailed and careful cut with Thu who is friendly and can help out with advice on new styles. The price here is a bit higher but includes the washing USD 4.30.
Viking Barbershop Da Nang
Nâu Barber Shop 3 Google Maps - https://goo.gl/maps/rkuqK94WtAYNAY9w9 Address: 30 Quang Trung, Thạch Thang, Hải Châu, Đà Nẵng Price USD 3 This was a really cool, small barber shop close to the Han market, city side of town. The barbers have some trendy haircuts and there was some cool Vietnamese hip hop playing when I got my cut. Despite his young age my cut was really well executed and the price as you can see was super affordable. Overall a great option in this area.
Nâu Barber Shop 3
From the five barber shops mentioned, KyLee Barber Shop is a top recommendation. Located down an alleyway, it may be a little tricky to find but the high-quality haircut and attention to detail make it worth the effort. The barbers at KyLee Barber Shop offer their services at a great price of under 4 USD, and they also have a range of additional services that you can add on to your package. With cool music playing in the background, this barber shop provides a memorable experience.
Rager Cutnshave is ideal if your in the main city side area and is fun experience. Situated nearby Han Market and the pink church.
Barber Shop NHỰA Style Chi Nhánh 3 is another great choice. This ultra-cool barber shop has recently re-opened at a new location after the shutdown. The sleek and moody interior, along with fine quality haircutting, makes it a popular spot. The barbers here can speak English and Chinese, and the price for a basic haircut is only USD 3. You can also add on additional services such as head massage, hair washing, and ear cleaning.
Lastly, there's Viking Barbershop - Đà Nẵng. This cool-looking barber shop has an impressive wood-panelled interior and plays great music. The barbers here provide a detailed and careful cut, and they are friendly and happy to provide advice on new styles. Although the price is a bit higher compared to the other two barber shops at USD 4.30, it includes washing. Overall, these three barber shops provide excellent services and offer great value for money.
