Are you looking for luxury vacations in Asia? Visit Vietnam's Phu Quoc island for the ultimate indulgence.
If you're planning a trip to Vietnam you won't want to miss Phu Quoc Island for the ultimate luxury weekend escape. Phu Quoc Island is the largest island in Vietnam located in the Gulf of Thailand. Vietnam's "Pearl Island" this paradise boasts high-end hotels, a casino, free night light shows, gondolas, exceptional Vietnamese hospitality, and some of the most beautiful beaches you'll ever see.
I'm going to provide you with all the information you need to book your stay, find the best places to eat and play, and make the most of your time on the island. Whether you have just 2-3 days or want to stay longer I've got you covered. I wish I could have stayed for a week but a couple of days in paradise is better than none and it's super affordable!
Getting to Phu Quoc Island is easy. Simply take a flight. I flew in with Vietnam Airlines on a Friday morning to experience my first night on the island. The flight from Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) to Phu Quoc was smooth, fast, and affordable at USD 32. I booked my return flight for Sunday night. If you're a foreigner visiting Vietnam, you can use the same tourist visa you already have to enter Phu Quoc Island.
I stayed at the Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc, a stunning haven situated on the pristine white sands of Bai Dai. The upscale resort has extensive accommodation options, including rooms, suites, and pool villas. The lush landscaped gardens, crystal clear lagoon-style pool, and pristine beachfront location create an exquisite tropical setting that exudes sophistication.
Located amidst the first sleepless super complex in the North of the island, the resort is surrounded by a variety of fantastic facilities and activities, such as VinWonders Phu Quoc, Vinpearl Safari, Vinpearl Golf Course, Corona Food Center, Grand World, and Corona Casino and Theater.'
The Radisson’s breakfast hall is incredible, with a long corridor of quality Vietnamese and western foods. There is also a very sophisticated restaurant located on the premises where you can eat lunch or dinner or just a coffee served by kind attentive staff.
The resort is directly connected to the Corona Casino for those who enjoy gambling. Foreign visitors will need their passports to enter, while Vietnamese visitors can use their ID cards.
The resort also offers shuttles to the main city throughout the day and electric cars to the nearby attractions. The price for a night's stay was USD 88.
If you're looking for a slightly cheaper option, the VinOasis Phu Quoc next door offers similar amenities and is located right next to the beach. The quality is comparable to the Radisson Blu, but at a significantly lower price of USD 80 per night.
Phu Quoc Island is the largest island in Vietnam located in the Gulf of Thailand. It is sight after by tourists from all over the world who get to experience a dream-like vacation. With dirt cheap USD 58 flights direct from Saigon, and affordable high end accommodation there is no reason you cannot treat yourself to the this amazing trip.
